Andrew Beck (fiddle, mandolin)
Andrew is a freshman from Saline studying Computer Engineering at the University of Michigan. In addition to being a deft violinist and mandolinist, Andrew is a talented and imaginative composer-arranger. He has performed hundreds of shows across the country with the Saline Fiddlers, often as a featured soloist. When not playing or listening to music, Andrew can be found solving complicated math problems and bending computers to his will.
Kiana Weber (fiddle, vocals)Kiana is a freshman double-majoring in both the School of Music and the Honors College at U-M. This Chelsea native is a talented violinist, singer, guitarist, and pianist. Besides playing with
Fíor, she can also be seen on stage as a member of the band String Cheese. Kiana has performed as a featured vocalist and soloist in the Chelsea House Orchestra, and she now works as an Assistant Director for the group. When she’s not practicing or writing songs, Kiana can be found elucidating her love of cats over a cup of tea.
David Rhine (guitar, vocals)
David is a freshman in the U-M Honors College and also hails from Saline. He plays guitar, mandolin, and fiddle, and has toured extensively across the US with the Saline Fiddlers as a multi-instrumentalist and vocalist. In addition to performing with Fíor and jamming with other musicians, David sings bass in the U-M a cappella group Gimble. When separated from his instruments for more than a day, he has been known to hallucinate wildly, fidget involuntarily, and exhibit numerous other symptoms of music-withdrawal.
